Impasse

Screen legend Burt Reynolds leads a ragtag crew of treasure hunters in the thrilling adventure Impasse. When Pat Morrison (Reynolds, Gator) learns of a cache of gold hidden in the Philippines during World War II, he recruits the team of veterans who buried the treasure to lead him to the site. But the unreliable crew—including a disenchanted alcoholic (Clarke Gordon, Journey to Shiloh) and a bitter seaman (Lyle Bettger, All I Desire)—test Morrison’s patience. Complicating the mission is Morrison’s attraction to two women, played by Anne Francis (More Dead Than Alive) and Miko Mayama (The Hawaiians), who each have plans of their own. Vic Diaz (Silk), Rodolfo Acosta (Wings of the Hawk) and Jeff Corey (Shoot Out) also star in this exciting men-on-a-mission tale from actor-turned-director Richard Benedict (Winter A-Go-Go) and screenwriter John C. Higgins (The File of the Golden Goose).
