Paraiso

Carmen and Alfredo are have been together since their childhood, but their love gets put to the test when Alfredo gets a new job in Mexico City. After moving from their cozy home in the suburbs, happy couple Carmen and Alfredo immediately feel the social pressure of being overweight in a city full of young, beautiful people. Carmen convinces her husband to join her in losing weight, but their relationship is put to the test when Alfredo’s program yields far better results than Carmen’s.

Spanish: Carmen y Alfredo han sido novios desde la secundaria. Desde su vida cómoda y tranquila, están a salvo de la presión social de encajar en una sociedad obsesionada con el cuerpo perfecto, a pesar de que ambos tienen un muy evidente sobrepeso. Pero cuando a Alfredo le ofrecen un nuevo trabajo y se ven obligados a mudarse a la Ciudad de México, Carmen descubre que el verdadero horror de la ciudad está en sus habitantes, que pueden ser la más cruel de las especies.
