Hartman's Bar is the last local hangout in a suburban town beset by big box stores and fast food chains. When the owner of Hartman's (Richard Chamberlain) falls ill, his estranged family comes to town to sell his club and make off with the money. What they don't expect is a no-holds-barred protest by the eccentric musicians, drunks and drag queens that make up the club's patrons.
